translucent magazine idea (istd)

Here is the rough visual for my ISTD brief idea.
Where the pages partner up to create a double page spread through the application of translucent paper stock. The reader can navigate the magazine and either choose to read the article/story page by page or flick to the centre spread to read it in full. I still have a feeling I can push this concept even further so I'll need to experiment and see where I can go with it.

I've also been toying with the idea of experimenting with concrete poetry and how this could be applied to different pages or even as a cover and used to visualise the content inside. It's an idea I think I have to pin down and communicate more clearly as it is still quite a vague idea in my mind.
