smashing the book

Whilst coming up with the ethos for the publishers I created a tag line 'breaking the book' I put it to one side for the time being but for the launch issue of the publication I brought it back and tried to visually develop the statement. So I came up with the idea of literally breaking the book as if it was made of a fragile material such as glass. I want to improve the concept and image but for now I want to concentrate on the identity of the publishing side and the magazine.
